I wasn't a big fan of this episode. The Klingon stuff seemed a bit strained, it wasn't that entertaining in and of itself and it didn't fit Klingon mythology quite well enough for the nostalgia factor. The B plot was okay but nothing special.
Well, the blood has to come from somewhere!![]()
Perhaps there are different vintages of bloodwine, depending on what creature's blood it's made from?In my headcanon it involved fermenting blood, targ blood makes the most sense if that's the case.
Feeta cheese?Klingon for the Galactic Traveler had more details about how food and drinks are made, but I forgot. Gagh is kept barely alive with thinned blood that they don't like at all, and then given some toxic herb that they love and devour just before they're served. Other dishes involve letting an animal digest something and then cutting that out of its stomach. And they have a Klingon version of grated cheese, made by scraping the feet of an animal![]()
Lower decks is not going by that formula for years. The Year starts in the 400 range, so we’re very close to 23822382. The current stardates are in the 59000-range.
Were I in Ma'ah's shoes, I'd request either the man's head as a trophy or, barring having a cool skull for the wall?I think the lack of a death scream is precisely because he acted dishonorably by being a coward and trying to attack Ma'ah from behind after surrendering.
