I think at this point we will get a panel talking about the show premise and general era and Prime-or-Kelvin timeline to whet the appetite of major fans and that's it for actual details to not take away from the July 22 release date and opening weekend of ST:Beyond. I'm guessing a gentlemen's or a legal agreement between CBS and Paramount's marketing for not promoting the new Trek TV series during SDCC.For SDCC we may get a title, an image or two and maybe a character or two?
I think during Las Vegas Official STAR TREK Convention 2016 August 3-7 we will get a show title and introduce the casting for all of the principle cast. This is the biggest event of the year Star Trek-wise so why not announce this stuff spread over 3 of the 5 days? Get the 50th Anniversary stuff over with the first 2 or 3 days.
I think we'll hear about the discussion and recap-focused TV talkshow series that would air following each episode mentioned in this thread A ‘Talking Dead’-Style STAR TREK ALL ACCESS Aftershow May Be In The Works.
So since announcements have already been made about September filming in Pinewood Studios Toronto no trailer other than graphics and screentests to show.
I doubt they want to show off costumes without a teaser trailer of shots on the bridge of a new ship with principle cast.
I wonder if they'll mention a Star Trek 2nd screen iPad App for the new show like
