Star Trek - A New Order

Got a source for those demographics?

It should be evident by checking out IMDB for how much money the three recent movies grossed (and even if [and that's a big bloody IF] it isn't, it still doesn't matter, because it'll be the younger people future Star Trek projects must appeal to-witness the new animated show to be on Nickelodeon.)

Not enough young people like Trek for it to matter. That's why they court the old fans. You are not more perceptive or understanding of this stuff than the producers.

For how long can/will CBS and Paramount continue to do this? Eventually, they will have to start courting younger people to watch a future Star Trek movie series or TV series, along with the reorienting of the merch focus to be on the Kelvinverse movies and the new TV shows, since said generations will/have already grown up and are able to spend money on Star Trek merch and they most likely don't want to buy the same old, same old TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT stuff (or at least just TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT merch along with Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Picard and Lower Decks merch.) Even if only the first two Kelvinverse movies made a ton o' money, Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Picard and Lower Decks have been popular and have been renewed for more seasons, so that pretty much shoots down what you just said.

So that's a "No," then. That's what I thought.
