Star trek 4

According to Abrams, the plot "resurrects" George Kirk who crosses paths with his son. What is the first brand that comes to mind? A time travel.
But could it create yet another divergent dimension? In his hypothesis proposed in ST09, yes.
As you see, it's quite easy to become confused.
Or this story might not have time travel.
But if time travel isn’t involved he'd be 20 or 30 years older now.
Well, the details of what this means probably won’t come to light until at least the first interview with Pegg and Jung

Maybe he was captured by the Klingons and was in prison for over 30 years or he disappeared to Asgard and met little Thor from Stargate.

If George was "thrown forward" by the "space storm wormhole" then no new dimension is needed. And the story would need nothing more complex in terms of exposition to explain his being 35ish years into his future without aging noticeably. One sentence, 15 seconds, and off to the main story we go. I certainly hope the filmmakers don't fall into the "technobabble trap" and bring the story to a screeching halt with a 15 minute lecture on fictional physics.

I like lin, I love Abrams. I got the chance to watch all 3 movies during christmas and I love the way JJ Abrams directs his action set pieces. it is just so amazing and intense.
