SNW computer AI and voice

On SNW being a prequel will the computer AI be smarter than TOS?
Will it use a synthesized voice from Majel Barrett like detailed in this post?

I'm not talking about recutting and repurposing her old recordings like they did in Toy Story 4 for Don Rickles
Bit by bit, an editorial team mined more than two decades’ worth of Rickles’ voice sessions and outtakes recorded for movies, shorts, theme parks, toys and other projects.

They “logged every word, every cough, every hum, just so we’d know what we had,” Cooley recalled.

Technology for voice synthesis or voice cloning has gotten extremely sophisticated.
See this recent example for a high profile celebrity having voice recreation.
Sonantic – Helping actor Val Kilmer reclaim his voice

With so many hours of Majel's voice on DAT tape and digitally recorded files in professional studio sound for TNG, DS9, Voyager, and ENT we can have a state-of-the-art full bandwidth voice synthesis of her voice to use in SNW as well as for licensing such as WAZE / digital personal assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant)
We can have the old voice of TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT computer back.

Was she the voice in TOS? I can't recall.

Honestly, this whole business creeps me out to no end. But, as others have noted, Majel wanted it so I have no doubt her voice will pop up and people will bow down in reverence.

I would love for the Voice of all of StarFleet Computer's to be Majel Barrett's Digitally Synthesized equivalent.

Especially given that it's part of her will.

Computers for other organizations / entities can use somebody else's voice.

There is no reason to do that, no.

You're complicating production and limiting flexibility for no good reason.

They've been using other voices for Starfleet computers for many years, now.

The computer interface will be smarter than TOS because voice interfaces are smarter than TOS.

On Disco, they used the same voice actress who does Disco's and Shenzhou's computer voice for the Enterprise's computer voice. The Short Treks for some reason decided to use Jennette Goldstein as the Enterprise's computer voice instead. SNW will go with one of those two. Probably the Disco voice actress, IMO.

Ok, what's the reasoning behind "Everything"?

Why do you dislike Majel Rodenberry?
I don't know her so I have hold no personal animus towards her.

I find it creepy, unsettling and thoroughly unprofessional. Yes, yes, as everyone will slam me for this was her final wishes and recorded sound bits to make it happen. I don't have to agree with it...and I don't.

Ok, I have no issue with it obviously; I think it's quite respectful to honor Majel Barret's wishes to keep her voice around as the StarFleet Computer's voice for the rest of the Star Trek Franchise's existence.

A type of unifying link amongst all the series given how important she was on screen, off-screen, & behind the screen, along with how she affected the show.

Plus, it's one less head count to pay for once you get the artificial voice synthesis to work.

That's putting "Futuristic" technology(Tech that could only be "Dreamed of" in the 1960's) into action.

That's a very strange unifying link. "Hey, here's a dead person who mattered in the past so we'll keep it going." Tongue partially in cheek but it is the oddest legacy tie in I've seen in a while. Next they'll take Roddenberry's ashes and mix them in to the paint of the sets.

You should recommend that to Gene's son Rod Roddenberry.
