The trailer looks pretty weird. Ridley Scott is either excellent or awesome, but I'll give it a shot. The more sci-fi, the better.

I don't really see any Westworld in this, another than having a robot character, and those have been around since long before Westworld. I didn't see any indication it's going to get into the evolution of AI or any of the other themes of Westworld.

OK, this has my attention. We'll see if it's any good though. Of late I've noticed a shift in Ridley Scott's work towards style over substance, or even sometimes at the direct cost of substance, so I'm cautious when it comes to flashy trailers of his work.

Well the trailer specifically says 'September 3rd' so I'm going to make a wild guess and say it's probably going to be at some point between September 2nd & September 4th...

Since we don't have a general HBOMax thread, I'm just going to ask this here.
Does anyone know if the CW series Legacies is on HBOMax? I've been thinking about switching over from the Netflix to HBOMax once I finish up The Witcher, but I was also planning on finish up Legacies Season 2, and I was just wondering if I can do it on HBOMax or if I'd have to do it on Netflix.

They released a new, much more detailed trailer yesterday. This one was even better than the first, and got me even more interested.

Not really - this actually seems to have both action and consequences.

I watched all three episode this morning, and I'm really, really liking it so far.
The first thing that really stands out is the performances, especially by Amanda Collins, who is seriously creepy, even when she's being nice.
The reveal with Marcus and Sue in the second episode was a surprise, and I'm very curious what role that will play as the season goes on.

Spoiler: Information revealed in Episode 1

I'm also curious how the Mythraic prophecy is going to come into play. Marcus and the other Mythraics were talking about it in relation to Campion, but as we got into the third episode I started to wonder if could possibly apply to Paul too since he was also an orphan.
