What movies do you like to watch more than once or when you need a bit of a pick me up, or just to have fun? My list

Man of steel
Bkues brothers
Iron eagle
Stargate
The Shadow
The Rocketeer
Treasure planet
You only live twice
Goonies
Van Helsing
The blob
The faculty

I always enjoy re-watching the Lord Of The Rings movies. I just like to use them to escape into another world, which is my definition of "having fun". :) Another option I choose are the Resident Evil movies. Just some mindless action, not much to think about plot-wise... perfect.

Can relate to that some days

Two movies I always stop and enjoy are Miss Congeniality and Overboard.

HARRY AND TONTO always works when a pick-up is needed.

These past few years I'll watch THE EAGLE HAS LANDED whenever they run it. Even though Robert Duvall is just barely in the second half, there are many compensations.....such as the battle between Larry Hagman and Jean Marsh.

I have to warn you that Hagman's character shares military traits with the lieutenants from PLATOON and ALIENS, though.

Apollo 11

Rogue One (my favorite SW film)

The Hunt for Red October

2001: A Space Odyssey (my favorite movie of all time)

Rarely a week goes by that I'm not watching one of those films.

And yes, I said Apollo 11, not 13 (although I also like that film very much)

If I'm feeling down (which is more often lately), one of these usually helps:
Doc Hollywood
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
About Time
Uncle Buck
Dumb and Dumber
Nobody's Fool (1994)
Deadpool

Topper
Bringing Up Baby

The Thief of Bagdad
(1940 version)
Some Like It Hot
What's Up, Doc?
The Towering Inferno
(IMO, still the best disaster flick ever made)
S.O.B.
Night of the Comet
