Interesting how they do the sideways clasp mechanism off the TWK uniforms.
Nice work, though I wish future Star Trek shows would swap Gold/Red back to their appropriate TOS departments and stop following TNG so closely. I do wonder if rank is going to be expressed via shirt cuffs again- with our main characters apparently all ensigns it makes sense they have no pips. Still....

Nice! I think these may be based on the "Generations" uniforms that ended up being unused. There's concept art and even a few test uniforms, plus some action figure models.
The one thing I do like is the shoulder design details. It's a nice uniform overall.
Indeed they do look quite similar to the unused 'Generations' uniforms. One of my all time favorites, so I'm not complaining. 
@Norsehound: During the ComicCon panel for Lower Decks they showed the command crew of the USS Cerritos, and they did have TNG style pips for ranks, same number of pips for each rank, and same location on the neck. I do miss the rank cuffs; it's one of the things I loved about the aforementioned 'Generations' uniforms.
I decided to add the rank structure onto the image, as well as the (rather simple) combadge design. I'm sure it was kept simple due to the animation style, but It's still probably the only thing about these uniforms I'd change.

I was kind of iffy on the abandoned GEN uniforms. I liked the design in general, but the sleeve stripes do nothing for me, and the placement of the rank pips means Worf wouldn't have been able to wear his baldric anymore.
The designers probably added the sleeve strips for Worf. That way he could wear his baldric and still display his rank.
I wish they would have used those uniforms in Generations. It would be interesting to see if the FC uniforms would have been developed as well after changing the uniforms once already.
I'm kind of glad they didn't for that exact reason -- I like the FC uniforms.
I'm glad they brought back the TNG dress uniform. I always preferred it to the Insurrection version. It's very sleek and isn't just a variation on European formal wear.
The lines down the center and across the shoulder are surprisingly enough of a difference from the TNG uniform to make it more appealing to me. I have always liked the dress uniform, though I prefer the shorter cut. Nice work!Went back to these after the new trailer dropped today.
I revised pretty much all the shapes and colors, as they changed a bit from the original reveals, plus I added the dress uniforms we saw briefly on the trailer.
After the awesome first episode, I had plenty to add here!
-We finally saw that Science and Medical had distinct uniforms (well, distinct boots)
-An Admiral uniform! I'm sure it's more distinct than the standard from the waist down (maybe a belt?), but all we saw so far was the shoulder area. I quite like those pads added, it makes an admiral easier to see from a distance, which I'm sure comes in handy when drawing one far away.
I started on the EV suit as well, but that's gonna take a while, as my time for this is limited for now.
