Very very sad news to hear today. I was hoping he would get better. I always found comfort watching TOD knowing Shatner and Nimoy were still here. Going to be different watching knowing Nimoy is gone.

So did I, he was at a Korvette's store on Long Island when I was about that age, too. I had my Mego Spock figure with me. What a really nice man and one of my heroes growing up.

I read he was getting better, but now he's gone. But not forgotten.
