I think it was the combo of both...the shortness and that colour all at one time was too much for me.

I was numb for about 2 days. Just kept staring at the pictures as they came in and muttering, "No! No! Your beautiful hair."

Then, as she talked and moved about...the hair just kinda "fit her". Brazen and shocking. Now, I love it. Sometimes it morphs when it shouldn't but for the most part it looks good on her.

I just LOVED that interview, being extremely interested in food myself and reading lots of answers from Kate Mulgrew about food.. HEAVEN.

This was my favorite bit:

If you could host a dinner party, with any five people living or dead, who would be there? What would you serve?

If I could host dinner party and invite any five people, living or dead, I would certainly extend an invitation to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and seat him next to Eleonora Duse, and to her right someone outspoken and even naughty like teacake. I’d mix that up with the reigning Hutu warlord and tease him all night with a real ruler like Queen Elizabeth R. I’m at the head, speechless.
