If Fate of Atlantis was made into a movie...

If Fate of Atlantis was made into a movie, or another Indiana Jones movie featuring Atlantis was made, how different to the game would the movie have been?

Looking at three different scenarios:

1. The game never was made, all the stuff that originally ended up in it was used for the movie.

2. The game was released exactly like it happened irl, but a movie adaptation of it was made instead of Crystal Skull.

3. Another Indy movie about Atlantis was done after the release of the game, with another plot than Fate.

Wonder how much these alternate movies would have resembled Fate of Atlantis, as we know it (including the sets and props compared to the artworks and graphics of the game).

During the beginning of Dial of Destiny I was wondering how an all CG Indy Fate of Atlantis movie would be. The beginning of DoD hit all the right notes for me, was classic Indy at his best, and I would actually like to see more classic Indy adventures. Not sure if I'd want Fate of Atlantis, just because I've played the game many times, but I can't help but be interested in the idea of it.

For those of us unfamiliar with this particular game, what is the general plot and how would that change if it was made in to a movie (Scenario 1)?

To me that's the most likely of scenes, taking the existing development and try to rework it in to a shootable script.

Basically the Nazi's are trying to find Atlantis and the lost Atlantean tech to take over the world. There are beads known as orichalcum that can generate power, so naturally the Nazi's want to use this for their own desires, and Indy has to stop them. He is accompanied by Sophia Hapgood, who is supposedly a former love interest of Indy, although I don't recall if this was ever explicitly said in the game or just left to the player to draw their own conclusion, although it does state they at least worked together prior. Been a year since I last did a playthrough. There are a few different ways to play the game, solo, team-up with Sophia, or fists mode. The game has you travel to different locations, Casablanca, Algiers, Crete, etc. think some of the locations change depending on the gameplay mode chosen.

It's a very well crafted Indy adventure, in the early 1990s LucasArts adventure game format.
