It is such a shame that it will be his last Wolverine movie because it sure damn looks like it will be THE Wolverine movie.. the movie fans wanted to see for years instead of the abomination that was the first solo movie.

Oh man.. trailer hype got me very bad with this one. Please don't fuck it up and give Jackman and this character a worthy send off (and then start making X-23 movies!).

I stopped reading X-books a few years or so before X-23 debuted, so this is all nice and new for me. I had no idea the little girl would be a fucking killing machine right off the bat like this. I expect Prof X to kick the bucket in this one, so I hope Logan makes it. It would be cool for him to kick back in a Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond role during his elder years.

All of the X-Men and FF movies produced by Fox are not part of the MCU. The only movies in the MCU are the ones with the direct involvement of Marvel Studios.
Wow, that was a awesome trailer.
I was surprised to see just how violent X-23 is, I know she's a Wolverine clone and everything, but still.
I got a big kick out of the in-universe X-Men comic.
This really looks like it has the potential to be one of, if not the best X-Men movie yet.

It looks like this movie is an "end of an era" sort of deal for Wolverine so you might appreciate it more if you've seen the following movies beforehand in this order:

Hard to say since we haven't seen Logan yet but i doubt it. All Wolverine Stand Alone movies were more or less on their own with separate stories that didn't carry much if at all over to the next (the same with X-Men movies where he appeared).

There is one post credits scene from X-Men: Apocalypse that sets up a character in Logan but that's it. Comicbook readers will have known what happened in that post credits scene but i'm sure it's not needed to understand the character in Logan.
