The serving girls were cut from the final print (see images below). The shot with Vina is a publicity still (most likely never used).

There's also some nice negative test shots of TNG models (the Star Trek Chronology version of Cochrane's ship). I think the Constellation class test shots shows that there were maybe two models of the ship built.

That doesn’t surprise me. Jein usually made at least two models from each of his molds. He did this with the warbird, the Ambassador class and the Vulcan T’Pau ship, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it with the Nebula Class (i.e. the Phoenix and the Sutherland might have been two different models.)

I was hoping he would have had test shots of the two wrecked models he built for BoBW, the Firebrand and the Princeton. Oh well.

So, I went through all the massive auction from the Greg Jein vast sci-fi collection.
A lot of really interesting stuff from TOS. Probably the most valuable items are the Galileo shuttle studio model and the Botany Bay studio model (starting bid for both is 60K).
But what I'd really like is this: "Extensive Collection of (300+) Scripts from Star Trek: The Original Series",
including a "banker's box containing unproduced scripts".

Starting bid: 10K.
Too much for me.

Me too, unfortunately. But what a collection that is! Must be very nearly every version of every script ever produced for TOS, and more. If it stayed at 10K, you could almost call it an approproate price considering what you pay for ONE original TOS script on eBay.

It is just an astonishing collection. Nothing can really rival it when it comes to TOS. Even the Justman auction was not like this.
Yeah, Jein seemed to be the only one in the production who hoarded tons of stuff. His family is going to be laughing their way to the bank.

I fear some oil sheik will get tired of a find and give it to his pet Tiger to gnaw on…or shoot with his AK.

Just breezing through the script photos, did anyone know the episode "The Naked Time" was originally written as a two parter? This is new to me.
My understanding is that it was less of a classic two-parter, where the plot is stretched over two episodes, but used the timewarp at the end of "The Naked Time" in order to end up back in time for "Tomorrow Is Yesterday".
