David Mack tie-in novel

I just checked the database of my American book supplier (I have a small book selling business) and took the following screenshots of the info they have on the Discovery book and Discovery calendar.

I've highlighted the release and publication dates of each title in red boxes. Not sure if they're the final ones, but it's interesting info, nonetheless.

ST: Discovery novel (US version)
ST: Discovery 2017 calendar

May 23rd was the original release date before it was delayed due to the show's delayed premiere.

I've stopped buying Trek books, but I'll check it out if my library happens to order a copy. The short season will hopefully make people interested in further stories.

Two-part David Mack interview at Trekmovie:

TM: Obviously you cannot give any spoilers, but, speaking just as a Star Trek fan, what’s your reaction to what you have seen so far from Discovery?

DM: Very impressed. The show’s going to look great, and there’s lots of high-octane fun packed into the two-part pilot. Also, from what I hear, everyone in the writers’ room and on the set is having a great time, and they are all keenly aware that they are becoming part of something with a long and venerable history. I think that if longtime Star Trek fans go into this with open minds they’ll find lots to love, and they and newer Star Trek fans alike are in for an amazing ride.

@DavidAlanMack: I'm pleased & relieved to report that I've finished my first-draft novel ms. for STAR TREK: DISCOVERY – DESPERATE HOURS. Mañana: spellcheck.

How many of you are interested?

Interested enough to pre-order methinks.
