CBS All Access Image and sound quality

Watched on the CBS app on my PS4

Netflix, works great, Amazon, works great. CBS all access?

works like crap. Image quality was horrible, kept freezing and skipping, I had to rewind a lot. Also, it would just skip backwards on it's own. A couple times it just stopped and froze on a green screen.

Well, scratch that!

Last night we could not get episode three to load. We tried 6-7 times, and then gave up. We were able to watch something on Netflix instead, so it wasn't our internet.

Having to pay for it, I expect it to work!



Hopefully it's just a one-time thing. We'll try again tonight.

I had intermittent issues. I was able to watch it at 8:30, but when it was over, I could not get After Trek to work. The CBS logo spun and spun on my tablet (where I streamed the show). Did a full reboot and no good. I'll try it today. I bet it was a heavy traffic issue.

Pretty much, the rest of the night, I could not pull up any CBS All Access show on the tablet (from which I cast). I had to watch it on my desktop (from which I can't cast as one must use the CBS App and my computer is ancient).

So not super impressed by the service. At All. I just want to watch a show; not play technician or programmer.

...and the website on my computer is also giving me trouble (saying "The video you have requested is unavailable or may have expired. Please refresh the page and try again."). Edit: I found a browser that works, though I would prefer to watch on my roku. *shrugs*

I was getting that same message on my browser when I was trying to watch the Hawaii Five-0 season premiere (not through All Access, just as one of the "free" shows they have available for streaming). I run a plugin called ScriptSafe with Google Chrome, and finally gave up trying to figure out which script was blocking the playback and just gave everything temporary permissions, and it played fine. Not an ideal solution, though.

I've been trying to watch Criminal Minds episodes and the sound is awful. I've tried watching while my girlfriend is asleep and the sound is loud as hell during everything but the dialogue.
