Breaking Bad - Season 2

I just found out that season 2 of Breaking Bad starts tonight (March 8th). I would have missed it if I hadn't checked the schedule. Anyone gonna watch? 13 episode will run from now until the end of May.

I've already got the trusty VCR programmed and ready to go. :bolian:

Tonight it's listed as airing at 9pm and 10pm, but next week only 10pm.

I'd never seen this show before but I must say it was pretty easy to get into, knowing only the premise. I think I'll be tuning in next week. :techman:

There are 13 episodes in the second season, the first season had 7.

The series has already been renewed for season 3.

Great series!

Agreed, so far I'm loving this show--however, I do hope they don't go much beyond season 3, possibly a season 4 at the most. How long can a show about a guy with inoperable terminal cancer really run for before it starts to become unrealistic?

Forever, its television. "24" stretches one day into an entire 24 episode season.

So far, this season is even better than last. They've really increased the suspense level. The acting is as superb, if not even better, than last season.

Don't know where they're going with the Skylar storyline. Walt can't tell her the truth but he's got to give her something and its got to be significant. Hank is slowly putting the pieces together that may lead him to Walt and Jesse.

Such a great show. Glad to hear the numbers are picking up.

Something big needs to happen soon. Maybe not Skylar finding out but what if his brother in law learns the truth? He should be the last person allowing Walt to continue his profession but if Walt dies without providing adequately for Skylar, the baby, and "Finn," then that will fall on Hank's shoulders. So he has a motive to keep quiet about the whole thing.

The writing is done so well. You can barely predict how a crisis will unfold. The tough thing is when you have cancer how do you drag out the series for more than a year or two? A cure would even make you question his motives - he'll be just another BAD guy without the irrational yet noble premise of needing the money for the family expenses.

This is the most must-see show since Galactica. It's amazing, honestly funny, and addictive.

I enjoy the show, but I do have two gripes:

1) He should have accepted the money/job from his rich friend. Talk about an ego...

2) What makes him think that his wife will accept drug money?

I like how they are foreshadowing "stuff" at the beginning of each episode.
It makes me wanna know what happens to them even more.

And it is good news, that they got a third season. And episodes with a length of 47 minutes compared to other one hour shows which give you 39 to 43 minutes most of the time.

From last nights ep., it looks like old brother in law was on the verge of a heart attack.

I think it was more of a panic attack, as he just killed someone and was at the danger of being killed. He still hasn't processed it. He doesn't talk about it like the rest of those people in Breaking Bad.

Skylar doesn't talk to Walther, and vice versa. The sisters don't really talk.
It's again their miscommunication which makes us watch.

Btw, I've just seen Enemy of the State (an okay film) and saw a younger Anna Gunn in it.
