Big Brother USA 11 (Spoilers)

Re: Big Brother USA 11

So the Chima speech only reinforces my hate for her. I guess people are not allowed to make mistakes and apologize for them. I guess every one should be held accountable for that one stupid mistake they made in their life!

She better go soon!

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Chima should've ended her speech with three snaps. Surprised she wasn't the one going unaminously. Oh well, Braden was a douche so he needs to go too.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

I'm not sure what Chima said exactly but I know that one of the racist comments that Braden said during his argument with Lydia and Kevin was that they are "beaners." That's mean but not the worst racial slur in the world...honestly I suspected something a lot worse!

I am so pissed at Ronnie. Why did he do that? I guess to save his own ass in case the athletes or Lydia/Kevin won HOH but still...that was so annoying and stupid. I really wanted to see Chima go, and I really wanted the athletes to be put in their place. God knows they deserve it.

And by the way, Braden calling Julie Chen a whore has been so exaggerated!! A couple of nights ago they were all really drunk and were playing Simon Says. It somehow got turned into Julie Says. It was Braden's turn to be Simon and he said "Julie...is a ho!" It was a fucking JOKE. Obviously it's not nice to say but when you look at in it context it's hardly something to fret about. Chima IS highly melodramatic.

My dream would be to see Ronnie put up Lydia and Natalie and backdoor Russell...I don't know what side Ronnie's really on but I hope he turns on the athletes either way.

I feel so pissed off at this show. Things never go the way I'd like. The closest we got was Janelle getting so close to the end but then losing that HOH competition. Everything else always seems to go with the people I can't stand.

And what was with the audience being all disappointed that people were voting for Chima and wanting Braden out? Even if they don't like Braden's comments, would they honestly have the athletes win out instead?! I find the athletes (besides Jeff) to be far more despicable human beings than Braden.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Chima plus Lydia plus Kevin plus Ronnie = bad Friendship memories.

Once again, we see the annoying loud mouth (Lydia playing Ivette), the tag along gay guy (Kevin playing Beau), the melodramatic racist (Chima again playing Ivette), and someone seen as this smart player (Ronnie playing Maggie)

I'd rather keep the athletes around if it meant we could get rid of the four of them quicker. The athletes grate on my nerves slightly less.

The clique thing has screwed over game play. Jeff is now dead man walking because of it. Lydia and Kevin have become a two headed monster because of it. Jessie, Russell, and Natalie had so much power this week because of it. Michele is silenced by Ronnie (or so it seems) by it (so much for outhinking people eh Michele)

The only bright point of this season is that they seem to be fighting just as much as BB6 and we can only hope it continues for the entire season.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

I can't stand Lydia or Chima and Kevin is guilty by association. Ronnie...I'm just not sure what side he's actually on at this point, so I can't decide how much I want him gone. The reason the athletes annoy me so much is mainly Russell. I didn't know it was possible to have someone cockier and more self-centered than Jessie, but Russell has proven me wrong. I can't stand the guy at all. Jessie is also a douche and Natalie is like his little follower. Bleh.

Well, he also told them to "go back to Mexico" and droned on about his desire for a white America. Even if his racist comments came out in a moment of anger, anyone who would think/say those things are a racist on some level. What makes his comments even harder to swallow is that one minute he's preaching "peace and love, dudes" and the next he's spewing hate speech.

I guess he's all for peace, so long as everyone is white.

So, I'm glad to see the surfer/closet Klan member(?) bite the dust. I honestly don't need to listen to anymore of his ignorant shit.

----------------------------------------------------

In other BB news, the house went kinda nuts last night. A shift in power always makes the houseguests jumpy as hell. We had Michelle v. Chima, Laura v. Lydia, and Jeff v. "unspecified rat."

The last one is the most interesting. As you all saw last night, Ronnie voted to evict Braden sending the vote to a tie-breaker. That wasn't what Jeff, Casey, Jordan, Laura, and Michele expected. The votes are kept anonymous, and Ronnie is denying having cast his vote to evict Braden. So Jeff has made it his life mission to discover the rat.

Everyone pretty much (correctly) assumes it was Ronnie. But since he's the new HOH they don't want to directly confront him on it. Ronnie's saying it was likely Michele or Casey.

Ronnie should make for an interesting HOH. I know there's no love on this board for the Jessie/Natalie/Russell/Lydia/Kevin/Chima alliance, but I can see why Ronnie sided where he did. As Ronnie said, "did they really expect me to vote out my own teammate?" It wouldn't have been in his best interest. I don't think it's smart of him to deny the vote like he is, but his reasoning in evicting Braden was sound.

Funny observation: Every HOH gets a CD to listen to (on headphones) for the week. It's a selection they make before entering the house. Jessie's pick? Kanye West. Ronnie's pick? Legally Blond: The musical. :wtf: He was disappointed to discover that BB mistakingly gave him Legally Blond: The Motion Picture Soundtrack. Ronnie's married by the way. To a Woman. Just saying. ;)

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Ronnie wanted Legally Blonde the Musical?! :wtf:

What did Kevin pick? The "Fame" soundtrack?

Re: Big Brother USA 11

^ In order for us to discover Kevin's pick, he'd have to win HOH, which - quite frankly, I don't see happening.

But Fame seems like a reasonable guess. ;)

The live feeds have been off for a good part of today since there is both a "Have & Have Not" competition + Ronnie's Nominations. So, nothing new to report.

Duh, that's right you said every HOH gets the CD. Somehow in my sleepy state I thought you said EVERY houseguest got a CD.

Ronnie is... "odd." I kind of like him, he reminds me a bit of myself, but stuff like the Legally Blonde CD is... Well, makes me shake my head and say, "Shakka. When the walls fell."

I really wish I had Showtime so I could watch Afterdark.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

After Dark has been all over the place so far. Some nights are totally game play talk, all strategy and whispering. Some nights are all arguing and talking shit about people when they leave the room. Some nights are drunk fests where they play games and sit around having some very vulgar sex discussions (think poo, sexual acts, and Michele - all in the same sentence). It's interesting to come back each night and see just how much has changed.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

^ Things tend to get more interesting at night. Save for the occasional verbal spat, the houseguests tend to spend a good part of the day just sunbathing/sleeping in the backyard.

So, Ronnie announced his nominations for eviction today. And the nominees are...

Laura and Jeff. Can't say I'm shocked. It'll be interesting to see what happens if one of them wins POV. For the anti-athletes crowd, for what its worth, the group seems to be seriously getting on each others nerves. If any click were to self-destruct soon, it'd be them.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

I didn't have anything against Natalie at first but she has really begun to annoy me. All she does is yell! At anyone she can find. And she has the tendency to butt into everyone else's conversations, as if people can't speak for themselves. She really does act like she's 18.

I don't know what the heck Ronnie is up to. Honestly, I don't think he knows. How can he still be going to Laura and Jeff and telling them it's all part of a "master plan" and they won't be going home? Your game is up dude! Who knows, maybe he does have some amazing plan, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, we'll soon find out...
Jeff won POV. Which means Ronnie will likely put up either Jordan or Russell. There has been a real push from the other houseguests to backdoor Russell since he's seen as a loose cannon (especially with alcohol in his system) and actually intimidates a good number of the houseguests. If Ronnie were to put up a non-threat (like Jordan) instead - it's clear he really isn't playing a very strong game.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Ronnie has no game play from what I see. Sooner of later one of Jeff, Jordan, or Laura have to figure out 1) he's aligned with the athletes and 2) he was the vote for Braden. And if he puts up Russell, all he does is cripple his alliance with the other side of the house way before he needs to. The only way he continues to survive is if Jeff stays and remains the primary target of the remaining athletes. So much for this student of the game!

Re: Big Brother USA 11

^
They already know for sure that it was Ronnie who betrayed them, I think they figured that out pretty quick. They also know that he is working with the athletes and are fully prepared for one of them to go home this week (I'm referring to Jeff, Laura, Casey, and Jordan). They all think Ronnie's playing a great game because he has managed to betray an entire side of the house and they still like him and don't have a lot of hard feelings about it. A lot of people believe that Ronnie and Jessie will make it to the final three, along with maybe Natalie. It's so hard to know what's real though...which conversations are the genuine ones and which aren't. It's messing with my head and I'm not even in the house!
Oh yeah and the athletes are starting to turn on Russell and have even played with the idea of putting him up as a replacement nominee. So I could see Ronnie doing that and getting away with it, leaving the HOH room with the appreciation of both sides once again.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

^ I agree.

As of now: Lydia, Kevin, Chima, Jordan, and Jeff all want Russell out. Laura (who's up on the block and therefore can't vote) would be cool with the idea since it means she won't go home. Michele and Casey are neutral.

That means the only potentially angry people will be Jessie and Natalie. And Russell obviously. But the rest of the house will see Ronnie as the guy who got rid of big bad Russell.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Ugh. You know how annoying it is to have to click on the spoiler-code bars to read this damn thread?

We either need to start a spoiler/live-feed thread or people who post in here need to accept that there's going to be spoilers.

Re: Big Brother USA 11

Well the thing that sucks about having live feeds or watching After Dark is that you see so much that isn't going to be shown on the CBS broadcast for several days. I mean, we've already seen who's nominated and who won POV, that's more than half a week's worth of programming yet it hasn't been shown on CBS yet. It's tough to talk about the game with anyone who hasn't seen it live because they are about two steps behind.
