Re: Big Brother USA 11
I'm not sure what Chima said exactly but I know that one of the racist comments that Braden said during his argument with Lydia and Kevin was that they are "beaners." That's mean but not the worst racial slur in the world...honestly I suspected something a lot worse!
Well, he also told them to "go back to Mexico" and droned on about his desire for a white America. Even if his racist comments came out in a moment of anger, anyone who would think/say those things are a racist on some level. What makes his comments even harder to swallow is that one minute he's preaching "peace and love, dudes" and the next he's spewing hate speech.
I guess he's all for peace, so long as everyone is white.
So, I'm glad to see the surfer/closet Klan member(?) bite the dust. I honestly don't need to listen to anymore of his ignorant shit.

In other BB news, the house went kinda nuts last night. A shift in power always makes the houseguests jumpy as hell. We had Michelle v. Chima, Laura v. Lydia, and Jeff v. "unspecified rat."
The last one is the most interesting. As you all saw last night, Ronnie voted to evict Braden sending the vote to a tie-breaker. That wasn't what Jeff, Casey, Jordan, Laura, and Michele expected. The votes are kept anonymous, and Ronnie is denying having cast his vote to evict Braden. So Jeff has made it his life mission to discover the rat.
Everyone pretty much (correctly) assumes it was Ronnie. But since he's the new HOH they don't want to directly confront him on it. Ronnie's saying it was likely Michele or Casey.
Ronnie should make for an interesting HOH. I know there's no love on this board for the Jessie/Natalie/Russell/Lydia/Kevin/Chima alliance, but I can see why Ronnie sided where he did. As Ronnie said, "did they really expect me to vote out my own teammate?" It wouldn't have been in his best interest. I don't think it's smart of him to deny the vote like he is, but his reasoning in evicting Braden was sound.
Funny observation: Every HOH gets a CD to listen to (on headphones) for the week. It's a selection they make before entering the house. Jessie's pick? Kanye West. Ronnie's pick? Legally Blond: The musical.

He was disappointed to discover that BB mistakingly gave him Legally Blond: The Motion Picture Soundtrack. Ronnie's married by the way. To a Woman. Just saying.
