The main reason is that due to the pressure from the Radio and Television Supreme Council, the production company and therefore the channel banned the competitions where female contestants only wear bikinis and male contestants only wear shorts. That's why all the contestants wear T-shirts.

If they did enforce people to only wear sexy clothing I think it'd cheapen it. Cause that's not a survival thing, it's a cheap ratings thing.
