Astra's ENT action figures in action

How amazing! Your trip and meeting Scott must have been quite thrilling. Did you get to show him any of your Captain Archer photos as well as the Agent Pride ones?

P.S. I really like the photo of Archer looking up at something in the NY skyline.

I didn't want to burden him with too many books at once and catch his reaction first. I would like to make an Archer book for another time I meet him - we still hope he might come back to a convention or something. And I did not want to mix Pride and Archer into one book, I thought it to be too jarring.

Plus Pride of course had the advantage of being a customized figure he hadn't seen before. I did not dare to take the original figure with me for fear it might break or get lost, I would have been devastated. Would have been even better to show him in person of course.

Since I was standing right next to Scott when giving him the book I didn't look at his face at the time and I sadly don't have any pictures or videos from that moment but my friends said his face lit up, I also could hear the surprise in his voice so I hope he liked it.

But the next day he went straight to talking about my sport photo and said nothing before about the Pride pictures so I dunno if he would be interested in seeing more or not. I guess he must get a lot of gifts from fans. I regret not being able to switch gears quickly enough, I could have talked some more about sports with him but alas. You do get starstruck after all ;)

And the "Great work" comment with the signature can be applied to both as well I guess.

With Sean Pertwee I always knew he was really excited to get more figure albums each time, he said he loved them and also often liked and commented on Twitter.

P.S. I really like the photo of Archer looking up at something in the NY skyline.

I have to admit that my friend did this one with her IPhone. All my own attempts did not work as the camera either focussed on the foreground or the background. But hers really came out great!

We also have a video of the Q&A on youtube now if anyone wants to watch it. My question starts at 22:54.

Oh my goodness! What an amazing trip! How exciting to meet Scott in person! He sounds just lovely! And it totally counts, you chatted with Whoopi! Celebrities love you❣️

Oh, now those are cool photos (no pun intended)! I hope Jon's got his field/excursion jacket close by.

I’m late to the ‘like’ as I only just saw this post, but I’m so glad you did it. This thread is awesome.

There was never a thread that deserved to be stickied more than this.

Aw, you're all too kind! And I do feel bad as I seem to have run out of Enterprise ideas lately. It's mostly about Pride these days, sorry guys ;)

If anybody has an idea or an wish, I am happy to do it for you!

Today I have an Easter picture to share. Happy Easter from Andoria! (seems they had a bit of global warming...)

Sorry for the long absence but I am back!
Here we have Archer and Trip doing a little - well, trip ;)

At the river Elbe in Dresden.

Having a little break:

Someone painted the skyline of Dresden here:

This is one of the modern steamboats:

And a classic old fashioned one. Note how they let down the chimney to pass under the bridge.

Welcome back! I am in love with that bicycle! What a great day out!
Thank you! I was in a dark place after a bad break-up over a minor (in my eyes) quibble and I had lost all fun in figures. I am glad that I am full of ideas again.

That bicycle is sadly a tad too large. It's scale 1/8 while Archer is scale 1/10 so when I sit him on it his feet don't reach the pedals. But he can stand next to it decoratively ;)
Thanks for the Archer goodness, and the views of Dresden, sweet!
Thank you! I take every chance to show off my beautiful city - more to come further down the thread ;)
Thanks for the Archer pictures it's nice to see you posting new pictures again.
Thank you! I missed you guys!

So there is a festival here at the river Elbe where people living there open their gardens and you get food (self-baked cake!) and drinks, and lots of music. I went to see a men's choir yesterday, I love those!

And I dressed up Jon nicely and took him with me. He is quite the poser, isn't he?

The water castle in Pillnitz in the background:

The next photo was very popular with some elderly ladies who also took some pictures of him standing at the fence ;)

And this is on the ferry on the way back. I asked if I need a ticket for him but the guy only laughed ;)

And in the tram!

And for those who also like to see Dresden photos without figures:

Another steamboat...

This is where the ferry leaves:

A museum for Carl Maria von Weber who lived and worked here:

Some houses in Pillnitz. It's a disctrict of Dresden, the city is growing by swallowing up all these small places:

Ferry on the run:

The European soccer cup is happening in Germany right now and these are some beer garden decorations. We call it "public viewing" when watching the soccer game with a crowd but I know that it actually means something different in English ;)

What great photos! Such pretty scenery!

The best! I'll never leave here.

I liked The NCIS New Orleans vibe in your pictures they're really cool images.:bolian::beer:

Oh you're right! The steamboat and all. I am also watching Scott Bakula in "NCIS New Orleans" and I love it!

Oh, no. Red alert. Archer is sitting on the edge of a precipice. Danger.

Astra, you always put on a good show. Bravo. :techman:

Haha, no worries! I keep him safe.
Thank you!

Jon went to IKEA. I mean, I did. This is my friend's fault ;) She told me about the miniature Aloe Vera plants there. From her photo I thought they were fake but they are actually real! I got some cacti as well while I was at it. I mean, Jon did. Now to keep them alive...
