Artemis stacking begins

I'm kinda leery on it remaining..
Might have higher gusts than its rated for..
I mean it's numbers, 2.4 billion rocket, few million to move it. To late now anyways.. Button up.

I was confused at first with the term budget but it's not being used in a financial sense this time.

It's referring the number of times they can move the rocket without risk serious damage.

I don't think it would be an issue if it was just the $$$$$.

Maybe the cake will launch first ;)

Watched the replay on NASA TV. Flawless launch so far. Mission moving along, solar arrays have deployed and lunar burn went as expected. So far, so good...

Now I don't pretend to tell you how to find happiness and love when every day is just a struggle to survive. But I do insist that you do survive, because the days and the years ahead are worth living for.

One day soon, Man is going to be able to harness incredible energies, maybe even the atom. Energies that could ultimately hurl us to other worlds in some sort of spaceship.

And the men that reach out into space will be able to find ways to feed the hungry millions of the world and to cure their diseases. They will be able to find a way to give each man hope and a common future. And those are the days worth living for.

Did a quick bit of research.

Those SRBs are refurbished Space Shuttle units but they aren't being recovered after use.

They have enough for 8 uses and then they plan to move to new unit currently in development by Lockheed.

So I guess they don't think it's worth while to recover the SRBs (though would be less crap in the ocean).

Well at the rate it took to get this one off the ground, 8 more should take us into the 22nd century.
