Are you Going to See it On Christmas Day

So the new Movie comes out on Christmas Day. My question is given that it is one of the major holidays of the year, and a time to spend with the family (If you do celebrate it), are you going to go on Christmas Day? For me, I might actually just go to Christmas Eve Mass, and then go to a night showing then. Now that movies are coming on at like 8:00 the night before (pretty much a lot of the big movies this summer), I'll probably see it then. That way I am a catholic so I can celebrate Christmas, and the return of Trek and not feel guilty about it.

Not sure really, won't know 'till we're closer to release day really.

I'm planning to. It's a tradition in my family for Mom to kick me and my brother out of the house while she makes dinner, and the two of us go to a movie.

I am a Christian, and will probably not go to a first show or midnight show because of church and my family's celebration of the holiday, but I'll go that day. It's my present to myself!

Only if it has those great newspaper ads that tie it in with the holiday, like a picture of Kirk holding mistletoe over a green hottie or the Enterprise orbiting around a Nativity scene, blasting Roman soldiers with Photon torpedoes.

Odds are I will be thinking about it all day on Christmas and then wake up really early on the 26th and hurry down to the theater to see it at the first showing!

Oh yeah. As soon as Christmas dinner is over, the stuffed family and myself will head to the afternoon matinee for a fun afternoon of Trek. I'd go earlier if I could get away with it.

I'll try to make it on Christmas, but it would be a night showing after our family has had all our Christmas-related fun.

Oh, I'll definitely drag my arse out to the theatre. Assuming it's playing that day where I am. I live on an island!

As long as I'm not snowed in, then definitely. Probably an evening showing after I have dinner with the family.

My family and I usually spend Christmas Day together, by which I mean we open presents and have a little celebration in the morning and then by early afternoon, we're all just hanging out, bored. As such, I've begun a steady, gradual campaign to get my whole family to come see it with me on Christmas Day. Then, unless it sucks, I plan to go again later that week with some of my good friends, who probably won't be as forgiving of all the geeking-out I'll do the first time I see it (I was practically rolling in the aisles for X-Men 3, imagine how I'll be acting during this movie!).

With my wife dressed as Legolas in green
and I as Gilmi I will breen
into the theater we will go
rain, sleet nor snow will stop us from our appointed rounds of
screaming at the top of our lungs, "Oh Merry Christmas to all! Oh blast, we are sooooooo annoying!"
