Would LOOOVVVVVEEEE too, but living half a world away will probably put a crimp in this plan (and of course, it won't come out here at all, most likely). The last ST movie did come out, granted: ... one day, one showing, and 10 o'clock am to boot. Oh, and six months late.
But if I should find myself in the Western world on Christmas, then yes, I'd see it on Christmas (I'm Buddhist, so I guess I can do that).

I doubt I'll see it Christmas day. I'll probably wait until the weekend.
No. My Christmas Day is pretty much booked with family and then resting after the family stuff is finished and then cleaning up after resting after the family stuff. 
But I won't rule out the possibility of seeing it later that week. We'll just have to see how things play out.

I've never gone to the movies on Christmas and won't start now. Besides I'll be so stuffed from dinner I'd fall asleep in my seat.

I think it depends on what my family/holiday plans are... It also depends on how I feel about the movie by the time Xmas '08 rolls around. We still don't know the plot. We still don't know what it's going to look like. I didn't attend screenings of INS or NEM on opening night simply because I didn't feel as compelled to see them. So it all depends on how hyped I am.

I don't know about Christmas Day but I'll definitely see it over opening weekend.
I'll go on Christmas Day if I can squeeze it in somewhere. Other stuff naturally is going to have to take precedence. If not, I'll sure as hell be there Boxing Day to check it out! Not like I have to organize anything with anyone since I'll probably be going alone. I'm the only Trekkie I know in real life.

Oh I'll be there, I already told my family they can get me tickets for the movie for that year's Christmas gift!!
Since I never go see movies on their opening day, I don't think this is going to be any different. Plus, I'll have to see a preview or something first to peak my interest.
