No premiere date yet.

I'm looking forward to this. I enjoy it more than "Agents of SHIELD," just because I devour period pieces for breakfast.

Kor

I'm just digging in and subscribing, for when the action begins.

Oh, and the Third Coast is the best coast (or the Nerd Coast, if we have to rhyme)

Oh, and the Third Coast is the best coast

It would have to be, since with only two items, you'd have to use "better" instead of "best." ;)

What is the Third Coast, anyway?

I think he was riffing on the OP's comment and the aphorism that the "West Coast is the Best Coast" rather than referring to any specific "third" coast, Christopher, which would also make your grammar policing there rather unnecessary.

Sidebar: The West Coast is totes the best coast. ;)

Have we heard anything about Lyndsy Fonesca? I've been a big fan of hers since Nikita and I was really hoping she'd be back. Her working as an actress would make the move to LA easy.

Looks like she hasn't been approached at all for Season 2.

That seems strange. You'd think a move to LA and having a struggling actor friend/room mate would be a natural fit. To say nothing of a perfect cover.
Well, guess there's always Season 3...? :p

Makes sense. He worked for Butters and Fazekas on Resurrection last year, so he had a great "in" with them. Too bad he won't get to shout out "Dumbass!" at anyone here.

Just as long as he doesn't refuse to rescue Peggy from a foreign power because it might start a war.

No premiere date, but it looks like the DVD set of season one is out. :bolian:

Wow. $36.99 for BluRay? For 8 episodes? And the only features are a few minutes of bloopers? Wow. I love the show and am an MCU completest, but that's steep. $25.99 for the DVD is a little more reasonable, and my BluRay player plays DVDs, so that might be the way to go. Otherwise, I'll wait to find it on BluRay used, or on a Cyber-Monday sale, or something.

^ Given the Marvel/Netflix connection, it'll probably end up there before long. S2 of Agents of SHIELD hit only weeks after it finished airing.

That said, the general dvd/blu price discrepancy is bull****. New entertainment is made for movie screens/HDTVs anyway, so the higher picture quality is already there, and aren't blus and dvds the same price to manufacture? So lower-priced dvds are simply a discount for a lower-quality version of what they've already made, rather than blus being priced more for an upgrade.

Ouch, that is pretty steep. You'd think for that price they could have at least thrown in a few more special features.

Seriously an 8 episode series should be 20 bucks tops. Buying it digitally works out to like 24 dollars in HD. Next cue disappointing sales and the death of physical media mantra. Disney sure is hell bent on keeping up prices on all their properties.

I'll just wait til they pop up on ebay.

I think that's a good enough price for a boxed season 1 Blu-Ray set, myself.

^Especially given the quality of the material. I think that is where Disney believes they are justified of the high price. Can't say they would be wrong about that, if true.

Anyone shopped for the two MCU Phases available now? Talk about sticker shock!
