A great intro to the character of Garak, but as always with him there's so much more going on beneth the surface that would take so much more than a youtube video to get into. Not entirely sure he was designed as a character to be emulated though...

I'm not attracted to men, but there's certainly something magnetic about the way Robinson plays him. I'd have gone there out of curiosity.

Maybe not a life lesson, but memorable.
Garak was pretty silly if he couldn't figure out why. How many Cardassians was she around? Her fellow prisoners with the Breen, no chance of a relationship there. Dukat. On Cardassia she was an unacceptable half-Bajoran, and on Bajor she was an unacceptable half-Cardassian. Garak is the only one who was interesting and available to her.
