"47" in TOS

We all know the joke about "47" in TNG and onward, but how many 47s are in TOS?

I found two today in "Errand of Mercy"
One in "Balance of Terror"
There's at least one other I didn't write down. It would be funny to find pre-"in-joke" 47s in TOS.

Also, there's one in TAS, "More Tribbles, More Troubles".

Oh, oh. Maybe we're caught in and endless temporal loop....and we're getting close to 47 minutes after the hour.

I never heard of this before. (Might want to step back from assuming people know about it). But thanks to this thread I know about it now.

For years, observation alone led fans to notice that the number 47 came up rather frequently from TNG season 4 onward. It may seem like a coincidence, and I'm not sure when the production staff revealed to the public that it was an intentional in-joke.

I never heard about this either. However, for me the time 12:37 comes up remarkably often. So much so that I started to take notice of it years ago. Maybe my internal clock makes me want to look at a clock whenever it's 12:37

37 is considered the first uninteresting number--or was it 247

the smallest integer that does not appear in an entry of the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences was (later) found to beThe number fitting this definition later became 12407

There are even more visual examples - for example, Hawking's winning hand in Descent contains.... 4 sevens.

I think it is a little like that video with the gorilla that no-one notices. Unless you point it out, you never notice the 47 thing, and it really is blatant once you look.
