That was 2005-2007 and he signed on to Avengers in 2010, so it wasn't "some months later", it was 3+ years later...

Wonder Woman is one of the big three along with Superman and Batman.

People have human rights, the human race has rights, it has rights under Western values, the French/British values, under values in Hong Kong laws, S.Korean laws, in Argentine law, in S.African law, and humans have rights in laws in many other nations, the human race has value and rights under the United States Constitution, the human species has rights under UN law
religion does not have these rights, and it is my free right as a human to practice freedom of speech and to be critical of all religions

Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Flash.....most of the general public kinda know something about them but that's really it, they couldn't name one comic book story, could not name one movie with the third DC character, the general public could not name one animated video game because that's the why DC operates, they have used 2 big leaders for their movies, the rest were minor characters or extras
Catwoman or Batman villain's probably got more exposure than Wonder Woman does today
Marvel on the other hand put huge effort into building their minor characters up from the ground before they launched movies like Avengers
DC doesn't have to do that, they've got Batman and Superman to draw people in so they're using their popularity to expose people to other characters.

It would be up to FOX to make a Storm movie. Honestly, as fun as Black Widow movie would be, I can understand Marvel not going there with her.
Exactly. The new MS. MARVEL comic is not "marketing religion" to anybody. It's just part of her background, and the comic does a good job of showing that, as with most communities, some Muslims are more religious than others. Trust me, every issue does not end with Ms. Marvel delivering a quote from the Koran or whatever. Most of the time, she's coping with boy problems, and school problems, and family problems, and giant mutant frogs attacking her neighborhood . . . .
Hell, I'm a lifelong atheist and I find the comic charming and often delightful.
And on other fronts: yes, there are a plethora of ongoing BUFFY comics out there. Besides the main BUFFY titles, there have also been spin-off comics and mini-series for Willow, Faith, Angel, Spike, Giles, etc. The Buffy-verse is still going strong at your local comic book shop.

Ehhhhh kind of. They announced writers for CM back in 2014, but as recently as fall 2015, the writers said that hadn't started penning a draft. Likely why CM was pushed back a second time in favor of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Along with Ant-Man being a surprise hit Marvel wanted to capitalize on.

But since Wonder Woman has been in actual production for two months now, it is quite accurate to say that Marvel is behind. And getting further behind. Both WW and Captain Marvel had their scheduled release dates announced in October 2014, but WW is still on track for its original release date (6/23/17) while CM's date has been pushed back twice (from 7/6/18 to 11/2/18 to 3/8/19).
Right. The Simpsons shows the title family going to church on Sundays, has them living next door to the very religious Flanders family, and features Rev. Lovejoy as a recurring character, but that doesn't make it a religious polemic. Religion is part of many Americans' lives and communities, but that doesn't make it the only thing that defines them or the only possible subject for a story about them. It's just part of the whole.
Take it easy, there. You can make a point without using such a aggressive tactic.
