You do know that Voyager 2 would have to travel FTL to catch up with the TV broadcasts? At that point, the energy from the transmissions would be so weak that it couldn't detect them anyway. You're talking about 50 light years depending on the story!

Then we better get the Kickstarter on.

Well, we know when the tapes were wiped. There's less certainty over when and how the telerecordings were destroyed (and indeed how many there were for each serial).
