Which Superman costume is the best?

OK, in all seriousness now, I have to say that for me it would be a toss up between Henry Cavill's and Tyler Hoechlin's costumes.

Perhaps a hybrid costume combining the best elements of the two would be the greatest ever.

P.S.: The costume Reeve wore is the iconic Superman suit and Reeve's portrayal will never be surpassed IMO, but that costume can't be used in a modern production anymore.

Cavills costume is decent but it's a little dark for me. I'm really not a fan of Hoechlin as Superman at all and I'd probably rank his costume as being the worst of all bar Cains spandex number.

When I first saw him, I thought he was totally wrong for the role (despite being tall dark and blandly handsome) but I've really enjoyed his take on the role. Much more fun and light-hearted than Cavill (who has the potential to be a great Superman but is lumbered with a one-dimensional take on it and too little dialogue).

Even though I voted for Christopher Reeve, I have to disagree that the Cavill suit would have been improved with the addition of the belt and trunks. I think it would have ruined the lines of that design and call attention to just how silly it is (which IMO is pretty much what went wrong with the Routh outfit.)

Even apart from the lack of trunks, I put the Snyder suits very low on my personal list. I don't like the "muscle sculpting". The suit comes across a little like a modern bodybuilder during competition*, which isn't a look I care for.

*Oiled up muscles, over-muscled stance, and...little "weeny" area.

He's not tall at all (he seems sort of squat); we already know how James towers over him, but he's not much taller than Supergirl. Then, there's the eyebrows and his lack of the strong presence of clarity, honesty and power Reeve & Cavill had by the truckload.
