What's your favorite Batman movie?

The Dark Knight Rises (although Batman Forever is a close second).

I love TDKR; as good as both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are, I honestly feel like TDKR takes most of the things that were great about those films and just ups the game with Bane, Selina, and Talia and bringing the League of Shadows.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I never got the hate for TDKR, I thought it was easily the most entertaining of the three Nolan Batmans. I loved begins, but even though TDK is good, I think it's terribly overrated.

For me it's

No contest, not even close.
I agree, it's definitely, inarguably:

Of course, I do have a runner-up, and that is the first two seasons of

:p

But, okay, okay, if we keep it to actual Batman, it's The Dark Knight, obviously, because that movie features the least Batman overall. I haven't seen all of Returns, but think I'd probably enjoy it; the rest, from what I've seen (meaning parts of '89, and Begins to Justice League) are differing flavors of hot garbage. IMHO, Arrow's Oliver Queen is a big improvement over the character of Bruce Wayne in terms of 1) having his traumatic origin story happen to him as an adult, and a lousy one at that, and 2) having to deal with actual family beyond a single considerably older butler/surrogate father.
