Note a bit of shuffling of the sticky threads so things are (I hope) easier to find. :)

Six years ago today I helped (finally) launch the (finally) completed STARSHIP EXETER, "THE TRESSAURIAN INTERSECTION", which attempted to replicate the look and feel of a 1969 Star Trek episode. Here it is. One. More. Time.

My gosh has it been ~5 months since anyone posted in here?

Anyway, related to Starship Exeter, Jimm Johnson is auctioning off a big lot of everything he still has from the production of the two films. If anyone is interested in seeing what's included, PM me.

Happy Dia De La Turkey to all who celebrate!

Any time, Bix. :)

And -- this is a weird year and a lot of us will be by ourselves. Chanukah runs from the 10th to the 18th. My husband will be out for part of that and for Xmas to cover care for his mother in NY. It'll be quiet here. The only truly festive things I am doing all month are the east coast holiday party online (I work for a company with people from around the world, so people from the east coast of the US have been thrown in with the folks from Bangladesh and the Philippines. I understand we'll be playing bingo. Er, okay) and a Zoom call on the 20th as this month is my parents' 65th wedding anniversary.

So let's open up the virtual doors and spend time together, my friends. Even if all you celebrate is getting a few days off, hey, that works so far as I'm concerned. Know that you are loved and appreciated.

my parents' 65th wedding anniversary.

Much congratulations to them on the milestone.

My own parents got to 64, but an arrogant busybody from APS decided my mom needed to die in a nursing home, and wouldn't leave her alone until she did, so that was it.

I'm so sorry about your mother. How awful.

And, thank you on behalf of my folks (who would watch TOS back in the day because my dad was sick of watching westerns).

My house smells like freshly made bread and I wish you and yours a very Happy Crimble! <3

Axanar released a new segment and, being Axanar, wouldn't you know there has already been some controversy? One actor withdrew two hours before the premiere. As a result, they had to put up a disclaimer in the comments section and post to Avalon's YT channel instead of their own.

It's not a bad segment, including some backfilling to explain why they can't use Tony Todd (not the actor mentioned above) anymore. The highlight is Garth recounting the incident for the documentarian and genuinely seems to lose his composure.
