USS Exeter and Magellan

Belz...

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
So a short while ago I posted a couple of cheap, very humble MS Paint drawings of two versions of the Enterprise. Essentially my own "reboot" of the ship, and the refit version. With my newer thread and a far less humble version of the Enterprise, the two were relegated to other Constitution-class ships, the Exeter and Magellan, respectively, as I remade them to fit the new size.

Anyway, I decided to make the rest of the views for the Exeter and a few for the Magellan. Enjoy.

So here's the Exeter:

If you look at the second thread I linked to, you'll see the Enterprise I did. Yes, the 1701-C is an influence for the engineering section.

But the idea's not to be a mish-mash. It's just the culmination of my own attempts at a revision of the Enterprise over the years.

More improvements for the Exeter (my TOS version of the Enterprise), integrating improvements, but also making the front of the engineering section straight.

Final update for the Exeter. For some reason the straight deflector just wasn't doing it for me. A few other changes as well.

I'll let the peanut gallery decide which version they prefer. :)

[raises hand from the peanut gallery]

X1 vote in favour of slanted Engineering hull front.

:)
