Wow I wish I saw this allot earlier. I did a kit bash with the 2500 scale 3 enterprise set of this. I took the saucer, nacelles and dish and scratch built the rest. I couldn't contemplate trying to scratch build something on such a small scale. Some of your pictures are remarkably close to the early renders I did as well, although you've had to make some changes due to the parts you have at your disposal. I'm thinking specifically of the way you've had to attach the nacelles to the struts and the way the body joins the saucer on the top side. It will be intriguing to see how it looks once you've completed it.

How'd you get around the issue I mentioned of the saucer looking downwards slightly? How can one rememdy it?
