Trek merchandise wishlist

Too much to list, but there have been NUMEROUS 'April fools' items listed by websites that turned out to be completely made up. For example, just after Playmates Toys released their Enterprise-D redux in late 2023, I found an Instagram post saying that Playmates was gonna do a whole line of Action Figures, Playsets, Roleplay toys and an 18" electronic light and sound Starship Enterprise, ALL from Strange New Worlds. Turned out to be all fake and photoshopped by a total jerk who had nothing better to do than give me hope for decent Star Trek merch then smash those hopes to pieces. :(

more clothing items and posters based on the various series, movies and characters.
There's lots of TOS, TNG and a lot less of everything else, especially DS9 and ENT.

A proper 22~24" NCC-1701-D model that lights up. Not just the deflector dish and nacelles, but also the windows and arboretum. Bonus points for NCC-1701-D Dreadnaught refit for "All Good Things". Double brownie and milkshake points for making the Bussard collectors swirl as devised for an early prototype that was discarded (but did make a return for the 1701-E). If I recall that blu-ray documentary correctly...

Assimilate this: croutons detailed like Borg Cubes! Or Nano's breakfast cereal with grey marshmallow cubes and nanoprobe-shaped toasted oat bits! Caffeinated for the adult market, of course.

Oh goody. Now the catchphrase can be "Breakfast is futile", or "You will be assimilated on the toilet bowl"! :guffaw:

I'd love to see new plastic bricks starship models. Sadly, BlueBrixx lost the Star Trek license for their fantastic models. Currently there are no licensed starship brick models available anymore (apart from remaining stock).

Presumably you have heard the rumours of an official Lego Enterprise-D?

You're right, Tomalak, I have heard these rumours, too. And they scare me a bit, looking at the quality and the price level Lego has moved into in the past few years. But I'll remain optimistic (-:

Considering 1/6 scale offerings are rather nice for trek, I'll look to the 1/12 scale stuff and ask for some decent action figures. Like, seriously even two inches above that you have Mego stuff (which has quality that makes me want to punch a wall but they're so darn charming) but there's no reliably nice 6 inch goodness outside of MAYBE Super7 but it's Super7 and their QC sucks and they always blow it with too many misc. nonsense accessories to jack up price when they could do some real good tooling.

ALL OF THIS SPEAKS TO MY WANTING! S.H. Figurearts (Or Max Factory, it's confusing to me) stuff of Lower Decks and/or DS9. It's the kind of company that can give LD's style some viable articulation and true to screen accurate looks considering the long history of them doing many, MANY styles of anime/manga characters and doing them just right. Same thing with DS9 in that they could knock it out of the park if they just cared enough. If only...

Not unlike the custom car kits that are available for the discriminating collector, how about an Enterprise kit - maybe 1:20 scale?

(Warp Core, Holodeck, Transporter and Replicator to be shipped when available)

Could be a group or club project...
