Trek and Wine

I'm a bourbon man:

I almost bought a bottle of James T. Kirk, but it was a little pricey, but I heard it was pretty good bourbon.

For TNG's "Relics" (and by extension, for TOS' "By Any Other Name"), I'd propose Blue Curaçao liqueur mixed with peach juice. It's... it's... it's green.

I wonder what could be used to approximate Bajoran spring wine though.

No thanks, good entertainment doesn't need anyone to be inebriated while watching it. On the other hand, some shows benefit from the stars being blitzed. Like a few game shows from the 1970s...

Besides, I'd rather buy boxed wine than boxed wine poured into a bottle, corked, then sold at an exorbitant price well beyond any rational excuse.

I was enjoying the first episode of PIC with a bottle of French red wine, a cuvée by Mas de Gourgonnier (AOP Les Baux de Provence) made from grenache, syrah, cabernet sauvignon and carignan.

Since there isn't any blood wine for sale, a Bloody Mary may suffice when watching episodes like "Day of the Dove", "Heart of Glory", "Redemption", "The Way of the Warrior", "Once More Unto the Breach".

Are you sure?

Is that moonshine? Have you had the honor or dishonor of trying it? Does it taste good?

What will they come up with next? Romulan ale?

I guess somebody did.

It might be fitting, or not, to drink that while watching PIC.

For TNG's "Relics" (and by extension, for TOS' "By Any Other Name"), I'd propose Blue Curaçao liqueur mixed with peach juice. It's... it's... it's green.

I've seen Blue Curacao used as an ingredient in a homemade concoction of Romulan ale. Be careful not to confuse it with cool mint Listerine. :ack:

However, to a connoisseur, any earthly version of the booze would probably be considered faaaaaaaake Romulan ale.
