The USFL is back? Why?

TV coverage of the UFL is horrible IMO. All those stupid sideline interviews, covered live action of the offensive coordinators in the booth, all the offline discussions take up more time than showing the actual frigging football game.

The repetition is brutal. Did you know that yesterday was the first time the Memphis OC has ever called plays? They made sure to remind the audience nine times before halftime…

I know I bought a big TV so ESPN can constantly cut it into three or four boxes. Kinda defeats the purpose of the big TV.

As a kid I loved player and coach interviews, but as an adult I find them repetitive, cliched and you don't ever learn anything (and the reporters always going "what was going through your mind" and "talk to me about" gets annoying). So now with in-game interviews, they happen all the time and I zone out. Sometimes I'll actually switch stations.

Manny Wilkins, St. Louis QB, took a knee to the head. They showed him on the sideline, he is going to have a nasty black eye.

Anyone remember the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie The 6th Day? They had an XFL game at the beginning of the movie before the XFL had even started. Full stadium, visors were computer screens, quarterback with a $300 million contract.

They say they are averaging 12,000-plus per game. There must be a lot of people out there buying pity tickets with no intention of showing up.
