Has that happened very often in the final rounds for these games? Seems to me like the winners are usually more clear-cut.
Of course, in that reference, the prize is the same thing as everyone else gets: the losers die now, the winner dies later. If they're fighting to die, everybody wins.
No extra time, timed out hours and hours ago. A Moral Star (II) is out.
Which means Kobayashi wins.
I do like A Moral Star {II) too, as it was a great mid-season cliffhanger. Kobayashi advanced its season arc, whilst also being a great nostalgia episode, paying homage to the fallen Trek actors and their characters.
Love "Kobayashi"! I got such a thrill when I was watching it the first time and realized where it was heading.
Though the big scene between Spock and Dal is a problem. The audio is just too all-over-the-place to track.
And they had such a great opportunity that they missed - Spock should have become young for that scene (to better relate to Dal) and been voiced by Ethan Peck! Keep Nimoy for all the rest of it, then just let Ethan Peck voice the one bit of climactic fresh writing.
