I don't get why everyone thinks every single actor in this film will be involved in action scenes.

Isn't that the whole point of these films? They're nothing BUT action scenes.

I'm not a member there. Jarod Russell is actually quite common, as it's also a character from a TV show. Just do a google search with that name. None of the results have anything to do with me, except the TrekBBS one.LOL

Ok, I believe you now. Sorry. It was the name and you using Arnold as your Avatar that made me wrongly assume that. That is equally made for his fans as Stallone's.

Nice. Hopefully the films keeps what the teaser promises: that most of those actors actually appear together on screen this time.
I also hope that they handle cameos differently. Arnold, Bruce and Chuck appeared out of nowhere for no reason, they weren't integrated into the story at all, even though that would have been very easy to do.

If you're watching this for the story, you're doing it wrong.
I'm disappointed that Van Damme isn't back as a twin of his character in the last movie.
I read that too... he was supposed to be Claude Vilain, twin of Jean Vilain.
JarodRussell, if you need more proof that plot is unnecessary to this film, look no further than the fact that the villain's name was "Vilain"!! The only way that could have been better is if his name was "Mr Bad".
Another great example of a movie I love that did this was Shaolin Soccer, in which the nemesis team was "Team Evil". Let's you know right away that these guys are bad!!!
And so? The plot was fine, the cameo characters could have needed more integration, that's all. Ex 1 had a rounder script.
These films feature actors from films like Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Terminator, Rambo and now even Indiana Jones. It's not WRONG to ask for the same quality in a film that features FUCKING ALL OF THEM. Especially when it's written by the guy who wrote Rocky, and directed by the guy who directed Con Air, and cinematographed by the guy who did the cinematography for Captain America.
While I like the films, they could be a lot better with only a bit more effort. Especially EX2 was turned into a mess because of the producers. A fight over the rating, Norris demanding no foul language, one of the producers wasting a day of shooting so that his favorite Tennis player made it onto the gag reel, etc... Then the film got cut to shreds in the editing room. And the bad quality of the film (out of focus, grainy, etc.) itself.
Really too bad we didn't get the 90s version of this franchise. Then those films would truly have been the mother of all action films.
