One little thing I"m curious about is if the end music will be the same.

I mean, if the show's over that dramatic, mysterious end music will be sort of meaningless, if you know what I mean. That music at the end is great right after some incredible cliff hanger or fantastic revelation by a character, but not so much if they ride off into the sunset.

I'm expecting epic music at the end. The music this season has been fairly lackluster compared to previous seasons, but I'm sure they'll be able to bust out something awesome. Or they can just play the sad Lost theme that pops up every once in a while. I never get tired of it.

Just to be clear, I mean that dum dum dum DUM DUM...dum dum dum DUM DUM that is always on the end credits.
To me it indicates continued mystery and wouldn't work when the show's over.

In another thread, I questioned if the show would even end with this:

I'm hoping that there might be some thank-you to the fans at the end of the episode. Might not happen, as there's bound to be something that'll remind us that this is a show that keeps on wrong-footing you.

It wouild be cool if they ended with end-credits like in the movies instead of the usual "LOST" title screen and the regular music.

I hope it's epically grand, I'm still riding my Ashes to Ashes finale buzz, so fingers crossed.

Though by this time, I have total faith Darlton will not disappoint.

Really gonna miss the commentary threads, it's been a lot of fun, especially watching with folks from around the world, instead of just watching alone in my apartment.

They're talking about the finale on the news. Apparently they were fiddling with the ending until just a few days ago.
