The Delta Flyers Podcast

I listen from time to time on eps that I remember/am fond of, but I was pretty shocked to hear McNeill opine that "Death Wish" was kinda dull... :cardie:

In some ways I'm disappointed not to have discovered this until last week, but at least that means I can enjoy a substantial back-catalogue at short notice instead of having to wait. Now that the Benji & Nick show is ending this is the natural replacement.

There is always something interesting in these podcasts. In the season 4 episode one episode, it was about the actress Jennifer lIen. They were talking about a scene in sick bay with her and that she was acting in that moment not as Kes but as herself, who was very introverted and probably feeling terrible about being fired. Wang said it broke his heart to see that.

For those who don't know, Garrett Wang and Robert McNeill have been recording a podcast where they rewatch and discuss an episode of "Voyager" each week. As of this posting, they're a few episodes into season 4.

I really like it because they really go into detail about the production and writing. You definitely learn a few things, like that Robert really didn't like the womanizing aspect of Paris in the early seasons. He also felt that the focus should stay on the main characters, as opposed to guest characters we've never seen before, like in "Learning Curve".

Several of us here are. There is a larger thread somewhere here, I will find it and merge this into it. :techman:

I'm enjoying this podcast. Anyone here contribute to their Patreon? Do they have full video playback of each podcast episode, or are the videos short clips?

Somebody else has pointed out that they'd like a similar podcast for DS9 episode. I'd go further and say I'd love if someone like Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keatning did one for "Enterprise". I'm not sure what people like Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, or Brent Spiner are up to these days, but it'd neat if they went into a rewatch themselves.

I'm stunned it took me so long to find this podcast. Unfortunately only the "Caretaker" episodes are available on YouTube, though I finally found the rest on their site. They're well in to Season 5 or 6 now, I think. It's great to listen to while doing house chores.

Started listening recently. Up to almost the end of the second season. Been rewatching some of the episodes I don't remember well.

Great podcast. Hope they can finish the series.
