Supergirl - Season Four

It's part-time Palpatine ;)

(might wanna add a spoiler tag to the title just to be on the safe side, btw)

Cool. Witwer's a strong actor with a terrific voice, as he's demonstrated in his Star Wars animation work.

And it's good to hear that this version of Agent Liberty is an anti-alien racist. Season 3 kind of got away from the alien-immigrant themes that had been so prominent in season 2, so that it often almost seemed they'd forgotten the aliens were there. It's good they haven't forgotten that aspect of the show's premise -- and of course, an anti-immigrant villain will make for some timely social commentary.

Argh, didn't think of that. And I can't edit the thread title. Maybe one of the mods would be kind enough to do so, instead?!

Witwer will play Agent Liberty, a Captain America pastiche character from DC who served as leader of the nationalist and racist villain team Children of Liberty. He's converted to the side of heroes later on.

Dammit. Last night, my memory seems too have been foggy, as I mixed Agent Liberty with Major Victory of the Force of July. Maybe because the description for the new show actually sounded more like Major Victory. To the point that now I wonder why they went with Agent Liberty and the Children of Liberty instead MV and the Force of July.

I finally saw a piece stating how Supergirl is being moved to Sunday night to anchor a new limited block of prime time for the CW. To be followed by the reboot of Charmed. At one point the network stated they were not going to be just a comic book show network and limit on-air show to 4 at one time. Now we have Black Lightning and a Batwoman show pilot being commissioned. Not to mention non-connected iZombie and Riverdale.

Seems some CW heads have decided that growing the network on the backs of Supers is quite possibly the way to go.

iZombie will end with the coming fifth season.

Here's a sizzle reel/trailer that's mostly old footage, but features Sam Witwer's superb voice delivering Agent Liberty's manifesto:
