It's not for me. Exeter TTI has spoiled me on how TOS fan films should look like. Even the music was something I could imagine from the TOS universe. Maybe fogging the sets, for The Crossing, a bit could give the scenes some atmosphere, but for what it is, it's what it is. There's something else I found odd were the editing; there were snippets of the Commander and the his BFF were seen in numerous transitions through out scenes. I don't know if it was a director's choice for some sort of subliminal messaging or a editing program flub?
No. Yjagg mentioned the transition I was referring to and I think it's an editing program flub by 25:03 minute marker of the piece. If you're referring to those sepia toned bits, they are flashback to previous episodes. Some of it is rather impenetrable if you've not seen the early episode they reference ("For Want of A Nail") or other segments with these characters.
it is flub if you are not familiar with editing software the pieces of video ( and audio) are stacked in layers if there is a space between sections and another video in another overlaps it it can sneak through the seams...No. Yjagg mentioned the transition I was referring to and I think it's an editing program flub by 25:03 minute marker of the piece.
I thought I saw more, and wasn't invested enough to re-watch the program again. I'm not contesting Yjagg's observation or yours, if it was just one. It's one, but it's not for me.^^^That's not what you said, though. You stated " there were snippets of the Commander and the his BFF were seen in numerous transitions through out scenes." One glitch is hardly "numerous".
That's why when you render the show out you WATCH IT several times for such glitches before making it public. We learned this the hard way on TTI after Scott rendered out the full show and made it go live it was discovered that the audio levels on Act One were lower than the rest of the show. Like that one?...sees a glitch that you could of prevented.
I am a big picture kind of guy and (thankfully) have detail oriented folks around to proofLike that one?![]()
