As much as I love the TOS command chair, I've long wanted to try and construct a close "replica" of the command chair from the Enterprise-A in Star Trek V and VI. I've looked on an off for years to find out about what chair was used as the basis for the film prop itself, but all I come up with is tons of info about the TOS chair and the Christie's page for the E-A chair when it was auctioned off back in 2006.
Does anyone have any Trek prop resources and/or connections with Trek set designers who might know more? Thanks in advance!
