He should go. I watched 5 minutes of this steaming pile and had enough. The man has single handedly desyroyed star trek.
You do know that Star Trek was pretty dead after the Enterprise cancellation of 2005 before Kurtzman revived it for film in 2009 and for tv with Discovery right? If he's responsible for "destroying" Star Trek, at least concede that he resurrected an already dead Trek just to "destroy" it again (per your claim)

At least, the TNG skit set between the Battle at Maxia and Encounter at Farpoint is better in In Living Color Season 4 Episode 33, the crew were wearing uniforms similar to the first interim uniforms in the FASA's TNG Officer's Manual.

One movie has not destroyed Star Trek, and the guy gave us Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds, and Picard Season 3, and I'm sure that more than makes up for any damage this might do to the franchise. The franchise survived The Final Frontier, Nemesis, and lots of bad episodes of all of the Berman era, series, I can't believe it made it through all of that just to be destroyed by this one movie.

I know I'm going against the majority opinion, that Section 31 is the "Worst Movie Ever Made" (TM) and all that, and I know you're writing what you genuinely believe, but I just can't, I repeat can't, understand how someone can say with a straight face that Section 31 is worse than literally almost all of Lower Decks. Seriously. I'd rather watch Section 31 three more times than rewatch that awful SNW/LD crossover even once.

I guess that puts me against almost everyone else on this board but I just have to say it. I just have to assume that my Trek fandom/mindset is VASTLY different from everyone else's on here. I'd argue the stupidity of Lower Decks did far more damage to Trek than the harmless fun that Section 31 movie did, but everyone is telling me otherwise and so I have to just nod my head to not get everyone against me, but, yeah...

You do you

So, I would say a solid meh. I did sort of like the star fleet person just silently having a breakdown. She watches these IDIOTS do stuff before giving into CHAOS and doing some McGiver stuff to blow something up. I so related to her. Other than that, I did love seeing the ships. We never see civilen ships, so it was sort of nice to see some. Worse ever.. eh I have seen some really bad movies so this was more of a meh then a they are murdering my franchise.

Depends on how you measure harm.

Boy, that was pretty awful. I was expecting very little and it honestly was about what I thought it would be, the trailers didn't lie. A lot of really "modern" quippy dialogue that would make Marvel blush. Pretty awful editing which overused some wacky movements like quick zooming. A cast of "experts" who largely seemed incompetent. The seductress who dies early, a Men in Black robot, and Juggernaut except he tripped over tables after punching through each wall. Just an awful collection. I liked Garrett well enough until the "I'm friends with benefits with chaos" bit, then she completely lost it. Easily the worst film in the series, so that debate can finally end.

What was the Godsend even supposed to do? They built it up to be this big deal, but in the end it was just a big bomb I guess. I also have a lot of questions about what referencing Turkana IV was supposed to imply, maybe it was a paradise until they arrived.

Yeoh knocked it out of the park with the awful material she was given, so at least she didn't turn in a dogshite performance in this project. She's one of the handful of reasons I gave this a 2 instead of a rock bottom 1.

That was simultaneously terrible and yet somehow not as bad as I was expecting it to be. I was hoping it would reach "so bad it's good/beyond parody" territory... instead it was just bad. Really bad. Really really really bad.

And what the FUCK was that accent!?
