Yes, for those of you not aware, Spock has reported himself strangely attached to a cat while petting it.

But, you know, I wonder how Spock would feel about cats after finding out that some cats enjoy being spanked...

This is a very strange thread set-up, but I'll bite: if there is any relation between the way the touch telepathy the Vulcans use works and the strength of electrical current of a participating being's body, then it makes sense to me that Vulcans in general would probably like cats and find them easy to communicate with.

Don't forget. Spock also caught himself petting a tribble.

And, of course, he had a pet sehlat growing up . . . .

Some cats do like to be gently spanked. We have five, and two of them seem to like it.

Also, Isis wasn't a cat - she was an Aegis agent that could take the form of a cat. So that scene is inconclusive regarding how Spock would feel about normal housecats.

At the end of “Assignment: Earth,” Isis briefly transforms from a cat into a woman, then back to a cat again. We’re never told which is her true form, or whether her natural form is something else altogether.

I have no idea what “Aegis” is. Something from a novel or comic book? In that case, non-canon.

Oh, and I once had a cat that liked to be gently swept with a broom. Go figure. They’re strange little creatures.

From a recent novel. And you are correct - non-screen-canon. However, it is canon for the recent internally consistent novel universe that Pocket has been publishing, and since that is as close as we are likely to get to seeing new stuff in the Prime universe ever again, it is good enough for me.
