Screen Actors Guild votes to accept new contract

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that the Screen Actors Guild has overwhelmingly voted (78% to 22%) to accept the new contract negotiated with the AMPTP. Not surprising in the current economy. The contract will become effective on June 10 and will expire on June 30, 2011.

So ... I imagine someone will now start a panic thread about the impending "Actors' Strike of 2011" and how it will "affect the holiday movies that year".

Bush-o-nomics was the best thing to ever happen to the producers.
