News RUMOR: Whittaker potentially leaving

I have, but I don't wish to indulge much thought into it. Basically, I didn't like the latter half of season 8, and both of the last seasons felt rushed and overly weak compared to the first six seasons.

One last off-topic comment:
Millions of people around the world - including sitting members of the United States Congress - did not "miss the subtext".

The showrunners of GoT spent 7 seasons lying through their teeth about Dany's character, and thus deserved the resulting backlash they saw visited upon them.

It's quite extraordinary how quickly GoT disappeared from pop culture conversation.

Not really.

The writers of the series thoroughly pissed off a significant chunk of their viewing audience, who rightfully turned their backs on the series as a result.

Pushing this back on topic ever so slightly, one of my picks for the Fourteenth Doctor is Nathalie Emmanuel, formerly of GoT, because she's a great actress and deserves the chance to erase the stain that the series ended up leaving on her career.

Well didn't River regenerate as a kid?
She was already a kid, but she regenerated into a much younger kid. She started as being maybe eight to ten, and ended up as toddler. I would like to see the short story of Melody’s wacky journey from New York to Ledworth over twenty five years, only aging about five years from near-baby to seven-year-old, before she found Amy.

And for something random a piece of fanart I found ...... What a TARDIS looks like, but someone explain the bomb dispenser please.

From our own Star Superion years back..I think.

Here’s an idea…there is another meta crisis…the extra “lives” are starting to interfere with the immortal nature of The Doctor…there is a fugue…a falling away. The Doctor is…dare I say it? In a state of…flux?

Different actors…different bodies…the Valeyard is the Hank Henshaw…the Eradicator here….a unification into a stranger…rather like the ghost of Christmas’ future…

“Who do you say I am?”

I'm pretty sure openly discussing a poster is frowned upon around here, particularly a poster who can't speak on their behalf. What I can say is that if you're interested, a search for that name in this forum should provide illuminating results.

Great art though—a shame.
I avoid politics by and large. I’m an infrastructure guy…so that puts me at odds with some Greens and Free-Traders alike at times…for example. Ideological wars often costs jobs…anti-gov’t types who hate NASA..folks who want to shut Musk down. What I want to see are new ideas…and believe in being open to good discussions.

I shall do that.

Just the idea in the art intrigued me. How can the TARDIS be a ship traveling in space and yet a police box also traveling in space, and why would the ship part need all those things like the bomb dropper if it's not in actual space?

In a future Doctor Who I'd love to see an actual TARDIS minus small shell.

I have heard it is infinite.

My guess is that it is a fractal version of a cosmological defect known as a “texture”
It too in a state of flux. Medusan like…it and Daoloth would blow your mind. Tessaract wrapped in a texture?

Bidmeade is the one to ask :)
