Revell USS Voyager

Thats very possible. The sturdiness issue stems from the body of the model being a lot thinner than older models(K'tinga class battlecruiser, refit Enterprise, Excelsior etc), and the variable geometry nacelles were a bit fragile. They had a nasty habit of folding the wrong direction!

I built a Voyager model about 10 years ago, but I don't remember the box looking like that. Maybe a different model company? I remember it not being as sturdy as the Enterprise D or the Romulan Warbird.

That's the box that I got. Maybe the international/export version was slightly different...?

Mine was a very sturdy model, second only to the runabout.

This perticular model was released three times. First of was the European release, labeled 'Revel'

This one-

The second was the US release, labelled Monogram-

Both of these models were identical in every way. You do occasionally see the monogram one in europe, and the revell one in america, but generally they were continental releases. The Kazon and Maquis ships were also released twice, like the voyager. The 3 piece kit also.

However, a limited edition (20,000 i think) worldwide release labelled under monogram was later released, that had some accuracy mods, and an optional internal shuttle bay to add to the model. It also came with a mini shuttle craft and much, much better decals. Good documentation of this special edition kit can be found here-

I found the european version of this kit in the loft, sadly opened a long time ago, is there any way i can make sure all the parts are still present as the model has not been built in any way and the transfers are still present so would like to sell it on to a new home, to finally be built
