I know Memory Alpha (and other sites) have lists of unnamed species that we've seen in Trek, but has anyone compiled a list of species that are referenced by name, but are not seen?

You mentioned that a number of sites have lists. Why don't you use those sites? Or did you want a list from a TrekBBSer (assuming none of those sites were complied by one)?

You might need to reread my post. MA has a list of unnamed alien species that we see in Trek.

I'm looking for species that have been referenced, but not seen. MA does not have such a list.

So I came here to ask if anyone knew of one.

Because I haven't seen the show, I have to stop myself from thinking the Klingons on DIS are the Hur'q. I can't say that definitively without seeing if I would be disproved first by dialog on the show. Though anyone that wants to can assure me I'm wrong, it's been done before.
