What is the average reaction speed of the StarTrek species?

Augmented humans were able to outmaneuver and overpower a Klingon crew in a matter of seconds, killing them all and seizing control of their vessel. Humans like Khan and Arik Soong's revived Augments from Season 4 of ENT are some of the fastest, most agile characters I've ever seen in Trek.

Fast and agile is not quite the same as reaction speed, one can be fast or agile and still have a slower reaction time.

This thread reminds me of one of the few truly funny scenes in a movie (Airplane 2: The Sequel) that never was all that funny (lacking Jim Abrahams and the Zucker brothers) and only a few years later became profoundly un-funny (the day the Challenger exploded).

Information desk scene:
First Woman in Line: Where is the passenger processing lounge for the lunar shuttle?
Information Agent: Concourse lounge C, fourth level.
First Woman in Line: Thank you.
Information Agent: Next?
Next Woman in Line: How long is my parking permit good for?
Information Agent: Two hours.
Next Woman in Line: Thank you.
Information Agent: Yes, next?
Next Man: What's the fastest animal on Earth?
Information Agent: The cheetah. Next?
Female Passenger #3: Should I fake my orgasms?
Information Agent: Yes.
Female Passenger #3: Thank you.
Information Agent: Next?

Would you care to translate that into Jive?

Hmm. There was an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati, in which Johnny's reaction time improved, the more alcohol in his system. Much to the consternation of the state trooper administering the test.
