Much of the footage at the start of the episode has been seen before in vignettes, however there is a lot of new content included. Honestly, this is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I found the story interesting. As the episode progressed the production quality and acting also seem to improve slightly (they are obviously learning as they go along). The diversity of background music is interesting but will not be to everyone’s tastes. The CGI is also quite good at times considering that this is a zero budget fan film.

There were a couple of things that made me smile such as the giant fish tank on the ship and the admiral reading his lines off a piece of paper with a pad behind it. :)

In short, I have seen worst fan films then this. :bolian:

Saw about half of it at work today.

Not bad, but there’s def. room for improvement.

1. Capt Corvus has to be the rapiest Starfleet captain to date. He needs an eyepatch to take off some of the “Here, have a drink that I haven’t put anything in whatsoever”-vibe.

2. Why is there music playing in the background THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE EPISODE?!? There’s a reason you never see this in a TV show! It’s annoying and you can barely hear the dialogue.

3. Who’s the wise guy who thought it was a great idea to have a character THAT NEVER SPEAKS, BUT ONLY COMMUNICATES THROUGH TELEPATHY?!? Because it’s a dumb idea. Raven spends 100% of her time nodding, staring at other characters and in general looking like a mime out of work.

4. What’s with the Marquis holding Raven captive and “abusing her”?! The Marquis are suddenly running rape-camps?
